Top 10 Myths About Weight Loss

MYTH 1: SPOT REDUCTION WORKS

It is widely believed that if you focus your exercise and weight training on specific areas of your body that you will be able to reduce the amount of fat in that specific area or region. In reality, there is no such thing as spot reduction, and instead, as you begin to work out and exercise you will start to lose weight evenly throughout your entire body. Just the same, another common myth is that a high number of repetitions will burn more fat when in truth, fewer repetitions with heavier weight will actually cause you to burn more fat in a shorter amount of time than a higher number of reps with a lighter weight.

MYTH 2: DRINKING COLD BEVERAGES REDUCES FAT

This is a very common myth that actually is believable if you consider the reasoning behind it. The myth goes on to indicate that because your body needs to heat up the water, it automatically begins to burn calories whenever you drink cold water. This calorie-burning frenzy continues until your body has adjusted the water temperature to be that of your regular body’s warmth. While drinking water (at any temperature) is an important part of any weight loss system, don’t count on losing weight just from drinking alone. Water helps flush out your system keeping you healthy and free of toxins, but you cannot burn calories just by drinking it without a healthy diet.

MYTH 3: ELIMINATING FOOD GROUPS WILL CAUSE FAT LOSS

This myth is a bit confusing, so let’s set the record straight. Eliminating (or at least minimizing) certain foods such as foods that are high in sugars) should be part of your transition into healthy eating. You always want to minimize the number of high fat (low energy) foods whenever possible. However, eliminating complete food groups from your diet and focusing on eating only one kind of food is not only very difficult to stick with, but in order to maintain a healthy diet, you need a well-rounded selection of wholesome foods from all of the food groups.

MYTH 4: LOW-CALORIE DIETS ARE THE ONLY WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT

Nearly every diet out there focuses on lowering your calorie intake and increasing your overall level of activity, and rightly so. The problem comes when dieters believe that by dramatically reducing their calorie intake they will shed the weight and keep it off. It’s important to gradually reduce your calorie intake so that your body’s natural system doesn’t shift into ‘starvation’ mode, which triggers your system into believing that you need to store food for a possible period of famine (this has been part of our system since the beginning of man). You also need to watch out for a disruption in your body’s natural metabolic pace, as dramatic reductions in calories can slow it down making it harder to shed those pounds.

MYTH 5: YOU MUST WORK OUT AT SPECIFIC TIMES

I’ve seen this myth circulate the weight loss communities many times over the years and while the “best time of day” always seems to change, the basic idea remains the same: You need to work out at specific times for maximum results. In reality, you really don’t have to work out early in the morning, late at night, or anything in between as long as you are actually exercising. Focus more on maintaining a consistent schedule of activity and less on when you actually get it done. For busy moms to business owners, being able to set a specific schedule isn’t always the easiest thing to achieve, so it’s great news that the real facts are that regardless of when you actually exercise, your body will burn the same amount of calories for the same workout regardless of the time of day.

MYTH 6: YOU MUST WORK OUT FOR XX MINUTES BEFORE IT BEGINS TO WORK

I used to believe this myth myself. The idea behind it is that your body must “warm-up” for a period of time before it shifts into “fat-burning mode”, and so anything before xx minutes simply doesn’t count. This is complete nonsense! While you should always work towards incorporating a warm-up period (as well as a slow down process) during your workouts, you actually start burning fat from the moment you begin!

MYTH 7: EAT FAT BURNING FOODS TO LOSE WEIGHT

If you ever truly find a food group or item that will cause instant weight loss, please, let me know! Realistically, there are no foods that instantly burn fat, however, there are food types that can increase your metabolism (which will subsequently, help you lose weight).

MYTH 8: HIGH PROTEIN/LOW CARB DIETS ARE BEST

These diets are typically difficult to stick with because they are very limiting in what you are allowed to eat. Furthermore, the reality of the matter is that while you may lose weight quickly at first, your body will plateau and you will find it difficult to get past the “hump”. Instead, focus on following a healthy eating plan that encompasses foods from the four food groups, ensuring that you not only are given added flexibility in your meal options but that you are receiving the minerals and vitamins that your body requires.

MYTH 9: EAT LESS AND BURN MORE

Did you know that there is such a thing as a “Sumo Diet”? It’s thought that Sumo wrestlers eat just before retiring for the day, and rarely eat throughout the day itself as a way of packing on pounds. The reason for this isn’t because eating after 7 pm actually causes major weight gain (the number of calories you have stored at the end of the day will still be transformed into fat regardless of when you ate), but instead, they do this because when you eat less your body ends up storing more fat, while decreasing your metabolism rate. It’s important to eat regularly throughout the day, preferably 6-8 times (three meals and healthy snacks every two hours will keep you satisfied and trigger your body to stay in constant fat-burning mode).

MYTH 10: ELIMINATE ALL FAT FROM YOUR DIET

This myth is not only extremely difficult to do, but it actually can harm your system. We all need fat in our diets to survive and to feed our muscles and encourage growth.

While reducing your fat intake will help you lose weight, it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to reduce it altogether.

A Guide to Active, Healthy and Fabulous You!

Human life revolves around food. It has played a major role in defining our life styles, cultures and even personalities! But the fact remains: the quality of diet that we include in our lives determines the quality of our healthy. An active life calls for a good well balanced diet.

WHAT EXACTLY IS A BALANCED DIET?

This is a question that arises in our mind just as soon as we hear the words balanced diet. Balanced diet simply means that you need to eat five portions of meal each day. These five portions are designed in such a way that they mostly include a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts, white meat and low fat dairy products.

BALANCED DIET FOR WOMEN:

Women’s schedule is often hectic as she tries to manage both works a family life simultaneously. This can often be exhausting and nerve wrecking. Additionally one cannot do away with obligatory social obligations and family shopping. With such rigorous routine, women are often unable to spare time for physical activities. To be honest after a hectic day at work and managing family routine even the word exercise seems to send chills down the body! Nutritionists recommend that a women’s diet should give her 2000 kcal of energy per day. A smart way to obtain these calories is to divide them among the five portions of food that you eat daily as a part of your balanced diet schedule.

DIVIDING THE DIET:

Carbs containing foods such as pasta, potatoes, rice and cereals should be taken in small portions. Your diet should mainly consist of proteins such as fish, poultry or meat and various fruits and vegetables. Avoid oil, butter and sugary foods as much as you can.

BREAKFAST:

The old saying “Eat breakfast like a King” is true. There is no better way to start your day than having a good hearty and healthy breakfast. As we progress in this day and age of technology we often neglect this most important meal of the day. However, eating a healthy breakfast plays a major role in keeping your alert and active the whole day. If you are one of those women who are watching out their weight than opt for a protein based breakfast. Proteins take longer time to digest as compared to carbs, so it is likely that you will eat less, feel full early and had consumed fewer calories. A protein based breakfast can range from scrambled eggs to lean ham to smoked salmon. The choice is yours; just make sure that you do not skip breakfast.

MID MORNING BITE:

Mid-morning bites call for some light snacks that may include some oat cookies or cakes, veggie sticks or simply some low fat yogurt.

LUNCH:

Lunch time should be a combination of low carb and protein diet. Excluding carbs from you diet is not advisable as carbs are the instant source of energy and without them the blood sugar levels will slump. Have a combo of high fiber whole grains sandwich with some protein such as chicken, salmon or tuna. Don’t forget to include lots of salad.

MID AFTERNOON CRAVINGS:

It is the time during which people tend to eat junk food. It is best to satisfy midafternoon cravings with some fruits. You can also include a handful of walnuts or almonds.

DINNER:

Dinner time calls for a healthy mix of low-fat fiber rich carbs with proteins and vegetables. Fill you plate with a colorful vegetables and tasty salad dressing. You can also include past, brown rice or quinoa along with fish, meat or chicken.

The Health Consequences of Excess Alcohol Consumption

Many known health issues arise from drinking too much. Alcohol is a neurotoxin and a mild-poison to the body. A common health problem associated with excessive or over-drinking is Cirrhosis of the liver. In fact, there has been a 65% increase in Cirrhosis deaths due to alcohol consumption in the U.S. (cite: 1).

Some common health issues with long-term excessive alcohol use include; high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and cancer. The risk to specific types of cancers is well-documented, these cancers include; breast, mouth, throat, liver, and colon cancer. When it comes to your brain, alcohol can do a number on you causing memory problems, dementia, and early-onset Alzheimer’s. The common psychological problems are depression and anxiety (cite 2).

You have an extremely high risk of becoming dependent on alcohol to function normally. Once addicted to alcohol you will be subjected to a whole host of other challenging health issues, none of which is fun to think about. If you are already there, it’s probably time to get some help as soon as possible. Over 88,000 alcohol-related deaths occur each year in the United States (cite: 3).

Unconvinced You Have a Drinking Problem?

There is an easy way to prove to yourself that you don’t have a drinking problem. Simply take 2-months off from your drinking and don’t drink any alcoholic beverages during that time. If you have no withdrawal symptoms or any pressing urge to have a drink, then you win. If you just can’t do it, don’t be surprised, most people who have alcohol use disorder don’t realize it either.

Do you have a family member who is in denial, yet you can readily see all the signs pointing toward alcoholism? Have you realized that you can’t help them and they won’t help themselves? How about you? Where are you with your alcohol consumption? Need help? It is okay to ask for help before it gets any worse. The damage to your health will only progress if you keep drinking.

The tablet is prescribed for adults who have cancer, including the Philadelphia chromosome, myeloid leukemia, or for patients diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia.

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or ALL is a kind of blood cancer. It starts its growth in white blood cells, specifically in the bone marrow. Bone marrow is the soft part of bones in the inner side. Cancer develops when your white blood cells are immature. It directly affects your immune system, as white blood cells are key to it. This type of cancer is very rare in adults, but commonly found in kids. As it is blood cancer, it quickly weakens the entire body. It spreads through the blood and affects other organs. It can damage other organs such as the liver and kidney, but it does not create tumor cells.

How to use the medicine?

An experienced physician should be consulted for the treatment of these diseases. Therapy procedures are directed appropriately. The medicine can be taken after having a meal and a glass of water. It has to be given with the prescription of a doctor. The dose depends on the patient and can be once or twice a day. You are not supposed to crush the medicine. Some patients might have issues taking medicine directly, so you can take medicine by dissolving it with water or apple juice. The amount of liquid taken with medicine should also be watched, as the medicine should be dissolved properly in the liquid. The dose should always be watched to avoid the side effects of the medicine.

The medicine can be stored anywhere and does not involve any special condition for storage. The tablet IMATIKAST 100(IMATINIB 100 MG) is made up of magnesium stearate, and the coating of the tablet is made up of hypromellose, Titanium dioxide, Talc, and Macrogol.

You should share medical history related to diseases and vaccinations with your pharmacist when beginning the medication.

The Use of Air Purifiers in Health Care Facilities

Effective disinfection and environmental sterility is of paramount importance in any healthcare setting. This is important to maintain patient health and protect those who have weak immune systems. Therefore, the point is that healthcare facilities should be free of harmful contaminants. In this article, we are going to talk about the importance of air purifiers for healthcare facilities. Read on to find out more.

With an effective air purifier, it is possible to remove airborne particles from the following sources:

  • Endogenous sources: These contaminants become Airborne through different sources such as packaging, supplies, flowers, fresh fruit, clothing, and visitors.
  • Airborne sources: These inorganic and biological contaminants enter Healthcare facilities through ventilation systems, windows and doors.

So what is the solution to this problem? First of all, it is important to keep in mind that these airborne particles are not good for your health. If you have a compromised immune system, you may suffer a lot due to prolonged exposure to dirty air. You may be at even at a greater risk if you suffer from asthma and other respiratory conditions.

In a healthcare facility, different types of air purifiers are used to ensure clean environment. But one of the most common air purifiers uses HEPA filtration systems. These devices are installed in different places across the entire facility. Given below are some of the most common places.

  • Isolation rooms and areas where infectious diseases are most likely to spread
  • Compounding pharmacies
  • Equipment rooms
  • Research Laboratories
  • Operation rooms
  • Treatment rooms

Air purifiers can be equally effective whether they are installed in small or large facilities. Let’s find out more about their application in these facilities.

Larger units have bigger HEPA filters. They are installed in the airflow systems of air conditioners and heaters. The air flowing from the HVAC system passes through the HEPA unit. During this process, contaminants are removed from the hot or cool air.

Small scale purifiers are stand alone units. They are placed in those areas of the facility where additional air purification is required.

Keep in mind that the HEPA filters in these air purifiers should be monitored and replaced in a timely fashion in order to prevent the accumulation of dirt, dust and other airborne contaminants. The thing is that HEPA filters are quite thick. Therefore, they can

slow down the air flow in the systems, which can cause breakdowns or malfunctions. Therefore, they should be installed with the help of special mounting frames and other components.

Since clean air is quite important in any medical facility, make sure that these systems are designed, placed and monitored buy a professional. Make sure that you install air purification units that are easy to install, inspect, monitor and repair. Before you get one, it is important that you consult a good professional.

Long story short, this was an introduction to the importance of air purifiers for healthcare facilities. If you have a health care facility to manage, make sure you get the best air purifiers to meet your needs on a regular basis.

6 Benefits of Vaping That You Can Enjoy

There is a difference of opinion about vaping. If you have been thinking about opting for a vaping pen, you are on the right page. In this article, we are going to talk about the benefits of vaping. This will help you make a choice much more easily. Read on to find out more.

Benefits of Vaping Pens

Safety

First of all, vaping is much safer than the regular form of smoking such as cigarettes. According to the Royal College of Physicians, vaping is 95% safer if you compare it with smoking. Since vaping doesn’t involve ash, tar or combustion, you can go for it to experience all the health benefits. For instance, you can enjoy better lung capacity, circulation, skin health and hygiene.

No obnoxious Odors

Another main advantage of this method is that you won’t release smoke in the environment. It releases an aroma unlike smoke that tobacco leaves produce. According to most people, the smell of the liquid inside the pen is hardly noticeable. Some people just adore the aroma emitted by these devices.

Controlled Nicotine Intake

If you use a vape pen, it will give you total control over the amount of nicotine you can consume. The reason is that you can choose from a lot of strengths, such as high nicotine or no nicotine at all. The good thing is that adjusting the amount of nicotine is up to you. By default, the nicotine level is high in these devices. As you keep using it, the amount of nicotine continues to drop.

Controlled Output of Vapor

Another main advantage of this technology is that it allows you to control the amount of vapor the device produces. If you go for a smaller device, for instance, it will produce a very low amount of vapor. On the other hand, high-end devices are suitable for cloud chasing. Aside from this, you can configure the coil type, airflow and power output in order to fine-tune the volume of vapor.

Therefore, they can be used right away. As soon as the unit is ready, you can take a hit through a push of a button. These devices are powered by a battery and you can use it all day long on a single charge.

Long story short, these are some of the main advantages of vaping that you can enjoy. If you are thinking of making a switch, we suggest that you choose a good brand and start slow. This way you can be on the safe side while enjoying all the advantages this technology offers.

Things to Ponder

The pandemic can be difficult to navigate and if we aren’t careful, we might find that we are developing an anxiety disorder. It is very important that you not only remain physically healthy but also enjoy good mental health so you might find the following to help you.

A little anxiety is a good thing because it can keep us sharp! It encourages us to prepare for a situation so that we won’t make mistakes or look stupid and helps us to stay safe.

Anxiety can be experienced by children, adults, seniors and animals.

We learn from others and often we can link our fears with the fears of those who raised us, promoted or who have modelled fear.

Anxiety is usually about the future: When we find ourselves asking “What if… ” we are focusing on things that have never and might never happen.

Sometimes anxiety is unrealistic or catastrophic. The media for example, is really good at publishing and broadcasting “the worst”. News stories are often about situations in distant locations and/or a few unique situations that only affect us if we let them.

Anxiety can grow and become a major problem if we “feed it”. Thinking about what you don’t want and rehearsing it can increase the anxiety. There is a theory of “big dog/little dog”. The dog you feed is the one that grows.

Anxiety can manifest in many different ways and degrees of severity.

Any anxiety disorder involves excessive fear or worry and unrealistic feelings that can lead to avoidance or compulsive rituals to lessen the anxiety. Relationships, school or work performance, social activities, recreation and general health can be negatively affected in a clinically significant manner.

We definitely cannot control everything or everyone in the world, but we can make good choices that will bring us good health.

In order to enjoy optimal health in this uncertain time consider the following:

  1. Control – You cannot control other people or most events that occur in the world. Be clear about the things you can control and let go of the rest.
  2. Perspective – You can improve your own life by using proven strategies. Remember, you are not a victim unless you choose this role.
  3. Routine – We are like babies: If we don’t eat or sleep – we cry! Choose activities that will enhance your health (regular nutritional meals, rest, projects and fun).
  4. Focus – The things where you invest your time and energy will dominate your life. Make a written plan that lists the things you want to improve and what you will do to reach the goal.
  5. Boundaries – Pleasers become tired and resentful over time. Protect yourself from trouble (turn off the TV, avoid toxic relationships, monitor how you are treating your body).
  6. Communication – No one can read your mind! Assertiveness is knowing what you need and knowing how to ask for it in a healthy manner (finances, relationships, employment, parenting).
  7. Balance – “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy” (old adage). Give your employer a day’s work for a day’s pay but also find things in your life that make your soul sing.
  8. Resources — “Asking for help isn’t weak, it’s a great example of how to take care of yourself” – Charlie Brown.

Tips to Enhance Body Immunity

In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, the people have been taking the required precautions like the use of mask, social distancing, minimal personal interactions, etc. Despite the observance of these measures, it is quite important that one should possess good immunity to fight the new Corona virus infection and other illnesses.

The immune system is essential for our survival. Without it our bodies would be open to attack from bacteria, viruses, parasites, and more. It keeps us healthy as we come across a large number of pathogens.

It is spread throughout the body and involves many types of cells, organs, proteins, and tissues. It has special ability to distinguish our tissue from foreign tissue. Dead and faulty cells are also recognized and cleared away by it.

If it encounters a pathogen, a bacterium, virus, or parasite, it mounts a so-called immune response. An immune response is a reaction which occurs in our body for the purpose of defending against foreign invaders. A toxin or other foreign substance, which induces an immune response in the body thereby producing antibodies, is called antigen.

Central to its ability to mobilize a response to an invading pathogen, toxin or allergen is its ability to distinguish self from non-self. The host uses both innate and adaptive mechanisms to detect and eliminate pathogenic microbes.

Innate immunity is the defense system with which we are born. Innate immunity involves barriers that keep harmful materials from entering our body. These barriers form the first line of defense in the immune response.

If pathogens successfully evade the innate response, we possess a second layer of protection, the adaptive immune system, which is activated by the innate response. It adapts its response during an infection to improve its recognition of the pathogen. This response is retained after the pathogen has been eliminated in the form of an immunological memory, which allows the adaptive immune system to mount faster and stronger attacks each time this pathogen is encountered.

Tips to enhance immunity –

The following are important tips that will help us to enhance our immunity:

Have an adequate sleep –

Sleep and immunity are closely linked. During sleep, the immune system releases proteins called cytokines. Certain cytokines need to increase when we have an infection or inflammation, or when we are under stress. Sleep deprivation may decrease production of these protective cytokines. In addition, infection-fighting antibodies and cells are reduced during periods when we don’t get enough sleep.

It is normally recommended that adults should aim to get 7 or more hours of sleep each night, whereas teens need 8-10 hours and younger children and infants up to 14 hours.

Eat more whole plant foods –

Whole plant foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes are rich in nutrients and antioxidants that may give you an upper hand against harmful pathogens by boosting immunity. By eating all different colors of plant-based foods, we are more likely to get a strong and varied nutritional profile. In fact, whole foods, plant-based diet contains 64-times the amount of immunity-boosting antioxidants compared to a diet that includes meat and dairy.

Eat healthy oil –

Healthy fats like olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil and foods rich in omega-3s are highly anti-inflammatory. Since chronic inflammation can suppress our immune system, these fats may naturally combat illnesses. A low-level inflammation is a normal response to stress or injury.

Reduce stress –

The stress suppresses it, increasing susceptibility to colds and other illnesses. It is difficult to define stress. Most scientists studying the relationship of stress and immune function, however, do not study a sudden, short-lived stressor; rather, they try to study more constant and frequent stressors known as chronic stress.

Do regular exercise –

The regular exercise is one of the pillars of healthy living. Just like a healthy diet, exercise can contribute to a healthy immune system. It may contribute by promoting good circulation, which allows its cells and substances to move through the body freely and do their job efficiently.

Stop smoking –

Smoking can suppress it because nicotine can lead to decreased neutrophilic phagocytic activity. It can also inhibit the release of reactive oxygen species (ROS) thus impairing the ability of neutrophils to kill pathogens. Within the lungs, smoking triggers a release of inflammatory agents that lead to persistent chronic inflammatory syndrome.

Meditate daily –

It has been found that the benefit we experience from meditation isn’t strictly psychological; there is a clear and quantifiable change in how our bodies function. Meditation is one of the restorative activities that may provide relief for our immune systems, easing the day-to-day stress of the body.

Limit added sugar –

When we eat a big dose of sugar, we temporarily damp down our immune system’s ability to respond to challenges. The effect lasts for several hours. So if you eat sweets several times a day, it may be perpetually operating at a distinct disadvantage. Further eating sugary foods can produce excessive inflammation that serves no useful purpose but promotes aging and disease.

The bottom line –

Our immune system is essential for our survival. Our lifestyle can affect how well it can protect us from germs, viruses, and chronic illnesses. Replacing bad health habits with good ones can help keep it healthy. The above tips if followed adequately can go a long way toward strengthening our immunity.

Our immune system is crucial for our survival since it helps us protect from myriads of illnesses. Our lifestyle is closely linked to our immunity. By adopting the tips mentioned in the article, we can enhance our immunity.

Living With Novel Corona Virus or Covid 19

The human world has just gone almost upside down. The recent pandemic has grabbed the everyday life of humans’ by the throat, and this happened all of a sudden. Fear has emerged from the darkness and has proliferated within the entire globe very swiftly, and this has paralyzed the routine works of humans. The Novel Corona Virus has brought in very many novel ways along with it, which were unknown to humans hitherto, rather neglected by them.

Now, many say that from now onwards, there will be a pre and post Novel Corona Virus era.

But, will humans become novel because of Novel Corona Virus? If we learn the essence of this painful pandemic, then we will see the emergence of a welcoming world on the other side of this heartbreak! On the other hand, if the lesson remains unread, then for sure, it will breed enmity between nations, which will take the world to novel confrontations.

Let’s hope for the best to happen. Let us have a bit of optimism and look forward to a better human society where there are no religious, caste, or racial discriminations.

Living With Novel Corona Virus or Covid 19 – Precautions

  • Be hygienic always, anywhere, and at all costs. Maintaining personal hygiene is imperative.
  • Whenever you move out, wear a face mask; for common use, a two-layered cloth mask is better. You can reuse the same after washing. You can also make it at home.
  • While wearing and removing masks, you must take double care; you must not touch the middle portion by hand; always, hold the string for wearing and removing.
  • Don’t place your mask carelessly here or there, after use. Always take it to your bathroom if washable and wash it with soap or detergent immediately. If it is a ‘one-time’ use mask, you must wash it in the same manner and put it in a plastic bag and then to the garbage bag. You can also cut the same into one or two pieces, as this will prevent somebody using the same again. After removing the mask, you must wash your hands.
  • Remember, when you are out of your home, you won’t know whether the person near you is a Novel Corona Virus carrier. This practically means that your entire body is unhygienic and hence, never allow your hands to touch vulnerable parts of your body such as nose, eyes, and mouth.
  • Always take a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you; this will be of great help to you when you are on the move.
  • Forget about the handshake greeting; don’t greet by a handshake; instead, you can just fold your hands and nod your head. This is the best form of greeting.
  • Sanitize your hands more often; when you are at home, you can use soap.
  • It’s always good to take warm foods and drinks.
  • Maintain individual distance; at least three feet away from another person.
  • It’s sensible to stay away from crowded places, in any case, for these initial periods.
  • Clean your hands and feet when you reach your home or workplace.
  • When you reach your home, you must enter inside only after washing your feet. Straight away, you must have your bath.
  • Take protein-rich food, which will make your resistance-level up and will enhance the overall immunity power.
  • Do physical exercises regularly, which will help our body metabolism.
  • Get in touch with a practicing physician if you feel something wrong with your body. Never attempt to do self medication.

Finally, we must learn the lesson taught by this Novel Corona Virus that human life is so fragile, and it can collapse even by a minute virus, which is not visible by the human naked-eye. Hence, we must throw away the hatred that we were carrying hitherto and must love one another. Let us become Novel Human Beings.

Things to Keep in Mind Before You Buy a Vape

If you are finding it hard to opt for the right vape, we can help. You have a lot of options to choose from, such as pod vape, vape pen, unregulated box mod, mech mod, and personal vaporizer, to name a few. Besides, there are a lot of flavors and nicotine levels to choose from. Given below are the things you need to consider to make a choice. Read on to find out more.

What is a Box Mod?

At first, the world saw tube-like, low-powered mods and e-the electronic versions. They looked like the regular packets you can buy. The units contained disposable cartridges that needed to be replaced at the end of their life. So, this is important to keep in mind.

Next, they invented the vape pens. These units are wider and longer than the earlier devices. With bigger batteries, these units offer better performance and a lot longer backup time.

In simple words, box mods are a type of vaping device that looks like a box unlike the conventional pen-like shapes. The new devices are more complex and feature circuit boards and large screens that can be used to do many functions.

Vape Pen vs Box Mod

The biggest advantage of the pen-shaped devices over the box mods is that they are small, which is why they are portable. But many vape users go for a vape box because of many reasons. Although they are not as flexible as the cylinder device, they offer a lot of unique features, such as longer battery life, better cloud production and better control.

Regulated Box Mod features

With the passage of time, the chipsets found in the regulated box mods continued to get better. Nowadays, a lot of commercially available mods and the electronic alternatives offer a number of advanced controls. These features allow you to get the most out of the unit. Therefore, they are a bit more expensive than the alternatives. However, the extra price is worth it. Let’s get a deeper insight into these features:

Safety features: The good thing about regulated mods is that they come with internal regulations. This makes sure that the units will never misfire. On the other hand, mechanical box mods don’t send filters voltage to the internal atomizer without unspecified degree of resistance.

In an unregulated box mod, failure can occur because of a non-compatible battery and a low-ohm coil. It happens because there is no safety measure in place.

Temperature control: with some new box mods, you can easily control both wattage and temperature. All you need to do is change their settings, and you can enjoy different vape experiences. While using the device, you can change the power the unit consumes.

So, these are some of the main features of these devices. If you want to buy one, we suggest that you consider the details described in this article.

Long story short, if you follow the tips given in this article, you will be able to opt for the right vape device. Hopefully, you will find this article quite useful.
